LONDON, April 28, 2025 – WTW (NASDAQ: WTW) has expanded its real estate team with four senior appointments aimed at enhancing its support for clients navigating today’s increasingly complex market.
Lauren McKay and Liam Hebron have joined the firm as Directors based in London. Craig Johnson comes on board as Executive Director in Manchester. Shaun Grainger has been named Development Director within the newly created Residential Real Estate Team, also based in London.
These strategic hires are part of WTW’s efforts to better serve a wide range of real estate clients. This includes Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), private equity real estate firms, private investors, pension funds, and investment managers.
As the real estate landscape grows more challenging, the new team members will help clients manage risk and implement effective insurance and advisory strategies across their portfolios.
Lauren McKay previously spent five years at CBRE, where she held roles in client solutions and business development across multiple departments, including Property & Asset Management and Advisory & Transaction Services. At WTW, she will focus on creating real estate solutions for pan-European investors and landlords.
Liam Hebron brings deep insurance expertise with experience in the UK, EMEA, and North America. He has held senior roles at Gallagher, focusing on management liability and financial institutions, and at Axco, specializing in insurance regulation. His role at WTW will concentrate on expanding real estate business through advanced risk placement, program structuring, and portfolio protection.
Craig Johnson, now Executive Director in WTW’s Manchester office, offers significant experience in both domestic and international real estate and construction. At Lockton and Marsh, he led teams serving major developers, contractors, and property owners. He will focus on supporting developers, funds, and investors with complex insurance needs, particularly in Northern England and Scotland.
Shaun Grainger joins with over 20 years in the financial and insurance sectors. He has worked extensively with clients in the residential real estate space, including build-to-rent developers and large-scale property owners. His new role will center on driving growth and innovation in the residential sector.
